politicized rowdiness attached to the health
status of General Mahammadu Buhari of the All
Progressive Congress. Many have opined
loquaciously of Mr General's political diehards --
leading him up the garden path of being the
germane and apc candidate of highest dexterity to
lead Nigerians out of the diabolical and abysmal
situation the Peoples Democratic Party had led
the country's strides into. Few from the other
side of the political train have also "cried from
the heart" stating that the health status of the
former Head of State is ailing and shaky, and so,
he may not be hale and hearty enough to steer
over 170 million Nigerians out of their perceived
political misgovernance of the PDP. An infamous
governor of the South-West had taken the issue
into the head, pointing out the line of ill-fated
past leaders that had failed health-wise during
their days at the helm of affairs, including the
very people's General as the next in line.
Other well-meaning Nigerians have queried
surreptiously the health stance of the aged
General, stressing his recent flow of travels out
of the country for what has been alleged to be
veiled medical trip.
What have we not had?
What have we not read?
But come to think of it, is the APC's presidential
race baton bearer medically fit for the race?
Well, the bodies saddled with such responsibility
are his political party, APC and the Independent
National Electoral Commission (INEC).
INEC has granted Buhari greenlight, and his
party, the APC had done same, which obviously
translate that the General is hearty and fit for
the presidential race (so they said).
Now, let me drop my advice "before it's too
late" ( a parlance attributed to our former
president, Obasanjo -- on different issue
though).
My Dear General, i have read so much about
you, good, bad and also ugly. But i believe you've
been politically transmogrified in ideology and in
character (thanks to Mr Rotimi Amaechi). I stand
to be corrected, i believe you are strong, healthy
and tactful to race for our Aso Rock seat. But let
me "rock the boat" a bit. Nigeria is our country,
you are a countryman of great reputation.
Before a story turns rumour, there would've
been some atom of fore-knowledge in it. I
believe that you know your health status more
than any other Nigerian.
Please, see the reason to x-ray your anatomy
and save us this chaos our media houses and few
audacious patriots have bewildered us with.
"If we lose Buhari now", Nigeria will be on a
mourning ground instead of focusing on
rebuilding and rehabilitating our already
overheated polity and dwindling economy.
Also, getting your elder statesmanship advice to
move this country to greatness would be a thing
of the past.
Remember: "Only a healthy man can climb the
iroko tree".
Nigerians need you strong and hale and that's
why we crave for your healthy well-being.
Listen Now! General.
God Bless Nigeria.
