NIGERIAN TROOPS DISLODGE BOKO-TERRORISTS IN NIGHT RAID FROM LAME/BURRA FOREST, BAUCHI STATE

Nigerian troops of the 33 Brigade, have flushed out boko
terrorists members from Lame Burra Forest in Bauchi
state, yesterday Wednesday night, during search and
cordon of areas inhabited by insurgents, reports
Telegraph.
A statement by Army spokesman, Col. Sani Usman, reads:
"Today troops of 33 Brigade Nigerian Army concluded the
dislodgement and clearing of Boko Haram Terrorists (BHT)
from Lame/Burra forest, which traverse Ningi and Torro
Local Government Areas of Bauchi State."During the
operation which started since last weekend, quite a
number of terrorists were killed, their weapons and
equipment destroyed.
"It will be recalled that the forest has been notorious
hideout of boko terrorists from where they organize raids,
kidnappings and attacks on hapless and innocent citizens
and security forces.
With this, the surrounding communities would enjoy
increased peace and security in their respective areas."
Thumbs-up to our brave troops.
