AWESOME: NIGERIAN TROOPS, LOCAL HUNTERS FOIL BOKO-TERRORISTS NIGHT ATTACK ON GOMBI, ADAMAWA..... SCORES KILLED, RESIDENTS HAIL SOLDIERS

Nigerian troops alongside local hunters have again
repelled a night attack on Gombi town in adamawa, by
boko-terror sect members, yesterday, monday, reports
Kenya24.
Residents of Gombi town in Adamawa have lauded the
Army and hunters operating in the area for foiling a night
attack on the town by some terrorists.
The terrorists attempted to enter the town around 7 pm
on Monday along the Gombi to Garkida road but were
repelled by the military, killing many of them and
recovering five of their vehicles.
Two of the insurgent's vehicles recovered, were completely
burnt during the encounter which lasted for about two
hours", a resident said.
The Army and hunters later went round the town, urging
people to stay calm and assuring that the situation was
under control," said another resident.
Efforts to get the military authorities in Yola to comment
on the Gombi incident did not yield result as they said only
the Defence headquarters could comment on the on-going
fight against Boko Haram.
Recall, Gombi was one of the areas recovered from the
insurgents by the military three months ago.
So proud of Nigerian troops, kudos.
